Be Restored and Transformed is a bible study group focusing on healing and restoration for people that have been wounded from either having an abortion or being a part of the process of someone having an abortion. We will use the discussing the testimony of Keri Calisto and look at the book Forgiven and Set Free.
We also will be looking at what Jesus did to set us free from guilt, shame and trauma. We will pray for each other and watch Holy Spirit heal each person. Keri Calisto had a God encounter in 1991. She left work during lunch in Connecticut and drove to Montreal Canada. From there she sensed a call to go Niagara Falls. During the 5-day journey to the falls she had such a sense of peace that she would have all that she needed that she didn't think twice about the journey. Once at the Falls, she met God and was transformed. She heard his voice saying, "you are my daughter and I love you". She was raised by alcoholics in a very abusive environment, and it would take a move in 1996 to Florida for that encounter to fully blossom when she gave her life to Jesus and was baptized in the Holy Spirit. She married and divorced and had a son who was her whole world for 23 blessed years until 2021 when Covid -19 took his life. She was a mom to an aborted baby in 1987 when her mother forced to have an abortion. That haunted her for many years. In 2010 she took part in this bible study at her church where she encountered freedom and healing. She wishes now to help others who are suffering from the pain and shame of abortion.
The following is an excerpt from the book: Forgiven and Set Free guides suffering and hurting women to bring their emotional scars from abortion "out of- the dark past and into his holy light," where true and lasting healing can take place. Appropriate Scriptures help women deal with issues such as relief, denial, anger, forgiveness, depression, letting go, and acceptance.

Addiction focuses on the spiritual battle we face. When we lose hope Jesus gives us the hope that we need the hope that only comes in Him. This battle that you or your loved ones are facing can only be broken by Jesus Christ. Instead of fighting yourself or your loved ones let's fight the enemy. Jesus gave us the authority to break the chains in His name, to send the enemy back to where he belongs, to deliver, to heal. When you lose all hope when you feel like you have no way out, trust in Jesus He is your Hope. This group will teach us how to fight the darkness with fasting, prayer, and the word of God. Showing our loved ones that their way out is Jesus.
Romans 8:24 -25 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
